I have been described by others as equal parts intellectual and goofball. I think that's an accurate appraisal. I thrive in discussions about Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, and Huston Smith, but can change gears instantaneously and crawl around the floor with kids pretending to be lizards. My home is my playground,filled with books, art, toys, and color. I never progressed to the "adult" house filled with style, refinement, and all things beige.

I'm a law student, living with my family to save on rent, and commuting to school. I love languages and seem to have a pretty strong affinity for learning them. My ultimate intention is to study psychology and possibly teaching languages. I can laugh at myself. Yes, I can be very serious about things that matter. But life's ironies are amusing. And laughter can be the best medicine as long as it is kind and respectful.

I am dependable. I have achieved numerous awards in my profession. I have friends with whom I have been close to for 38 years. My life is stable and comfortable, financially and emotionally. I have never used any illegal drugs or misused any legal ones. You would never have to wonder where I am or what I am doing as I would tell you. My word would be my honor.

I know how to treat a woman. That means I respect and value differences. I work to understand what is said as well as what is meant. I believe that that being in love is a daily thing and that romance is a fire that needs to be fed. I value the touch?not just holding hands but connecting through the fingers to the heart. In the end it is that soft and endearing look of one's eyes into the eyes of one you love that tells it all.

I respect and value life. I have a Chow named Star that I got from the Chow rescue people in Minneapolis. I support charities that help people and animals in need. Single Mom(duh), have two children one 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. We have dogs, cats, a bird and one fish. I race vintage street motorcycles and just won a national title. Oh yeah, I beat the heck out of the other novice riders, except that retired guy who took 2nd. It was close at the end. Other hobbies include snowboarding, snowmobiling, fixing anything mechanical(and a fair amount of non-mechanical), wood working, frisbee, biking(all types), working out, and computer repair.
